Well the MGB GT has been sold. It was driven up to Dorset and the new owners are very happy with it. The MG ZR's log book has finally come through so I have at last taxed it. The SD1 2600 is currently in the garage awaiting a cambelt and oil change when I can fit it in this week. Finally at the end of the month my new project, an early SD1 3500 will be going into the garage to have a bit of re-commissioning work done. If all goes to plan at the moment I see the ZR going in November and the 3500 getting an LPG tank and becoming more of a daily driver, but we will see!
Well I have done what I intended, rescued it and got it through an MOT, so it is now time for me to sell it to get some money back for the next project. The B is now on ebay, please follow the link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1975-MG-B-GT-WHITE-WITH-OVERDRIVE_W0QQitemZ170110806314QQihZ007QQcategoryZ29757QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
The MGB GT has passed its MOT. I sourced a front shock absorber from MGB HIVE, for a bargain £13. Also the ZR is ready to go for its MOT. The only issue I can see will be the crack in the windscreen - but I need it to go through so I can claim on the insurance for it!Pictures coming soon......
